One of the many challenges for businesses getting started with a Managed Solution is compiling an accurate asset list, which includes details about all of the devices that are on their network. Inaccurate lists lead to problems: some devices may not be monitored or devices may later be discovered, thereby creating unplanned costs.

At Von, we approach it differently. We have developed a hybrid solution consisting of an On-Site Probe + Secure Cloud-Based Applications. Our proprietary Software-Controlled Asset Mapping Process (SCAMP) allows us to construct an accurate list of assets within your network BEFORE we set up a contract. All parties will have a clear, accurate, and reliable list of assets, which enhances the effectiveness of the monitoring process and helps to make the service a fixed cost.

We work hard to ensure your network is stabilized and running in tip-top shape before we begin actively monitoring.  Any remediation work that is needed is undertaken at this time to fix existing issues.

In this stage of our process, we begin developing detailed documentation and network standards. We establish naming conventions, escalation trees, review OEM service agreements, and perform initial remediation work, if necessary.

Like with any relationship - it takes time to get to know one another, and certainly this is true for network management. Step 3 of our process allows us to observe the network and start establishing sensitivity parameters for the specific environment.

We also refine and calibrate our methods and frequency of communication with the internal tech team so that we are keeping them informed, but not bombarding them with unnecessary details.

Step 4 is the heart of our service - the rigorous, day-to-day, proactive monitoring of the network. Our secure, cloud-based solution actively identifies potential issues, opens and ranks alerts and tickets based on severity.

Our Network Operation Centers (NOCs) are staffed by a cohesive team of Level 1.5-2 technicians backed by Level 3 technicials. Issues are resolved quickly - many times before any reduction of service is observed.
